Choose range or melee inside the point cap

The only documented recommendation is to spend points on range instead of max armor. Here is the trade that recommendation is based on, and where it stops.

This is a recommendation, not a damage chart

No public source lists weapon damage, fire rate, or reload. The 15 October 2026 walkthrough still makes a concrete argument from the point budget: diamond armor costs 6, the presenter refuses that spend, and says the best way to play is at range, then opens the crossbow. A sword is described as unnecessary unless you want a close-range option.

That is one demonstrated opinion. It is not an official tier list and it is not a measured win rate. The loadout board repeats the same limit in shorter form.

What each style spends

Close range. Iron sword is 3 points. Diamond dagger is 2. The sling filled the last point of a 3-point gap in the demo, which fits a 1-point sling. Together they are 6 points and leave 6. The presenter also says you can stack melee weapons if you want, and treats that as a poor idea. No reach or swing speed was given, so the only hard fact is the cost.

Range. The crossbow is the weapon the clip switches to after rejecting heavy armor. Arrows are extra: 12 per point, and the presenter stops at 12 arrows instead of 36 because misses waste the larger stack. The crossbow's own point cost was not isolated. Leave room for at least one arrow point or the weapon has no documented ammo.

Armor. Leather, iron, and diamond exist. Only diamond has a number, and it is half of a 12-point loadout by itself. The presenter links higher armor quality to a higher point cost. Taking diamond armor because it is the top name, without checking the points left for a weapon and ammo, is the mistake the clip is avoiding.

How to choose in a real lobby

  1. If you are still learning the menu, keep armor cheap enough that a weapon and a small ammo stack fit. The exact leather and iron costs must be read in game.
  2. If you already own a crossbow or another ranged weapon, buy a 12-arrow stack first and add more only when you are hitting shots.
  3. Add an iron sword or diamond dagger only when fights are ending in melee and you still have 2 or 3 points.
  4. Put on diamond armor only when the remaining points still buy the weapon you intend to fight with. Six points of armor and an empty weapon slot is not the build the clip is recommending.

What not to import

Community pages about TRIBES 3: Rivals discuss spinfusors, nitrons, and flag routes. Those are a different game. Cheat-script menus also name a bow, flintlock, throwing knife, and smoke bomb. Those names are not confirmed by the walkthrough or by Snick Co., so they are not builds on this site.

Re-check the counter after any update. The Roblox listing has been updated in October 2026, and no itemized patch notes were published with that stamp.

How do I unlock more gear?

The same walkthrough says locked loadout items are earned by playing, and that a chest opens at the end of a match. Drop rates, pity timers, and a full item list were not shown.
